Gavin Webb’s legacy
Gavin Webb joined Westside in 2016, working in Moura before moving back to Brisbane. He was a valued member of the Westside team, demonstrating high standards of operational excellence. Gavin was diagnosed with motor neuron disease (MND) in 2018 and left the company at the time of his diagnosis. Sadly, we said our final farewell to Gavin in August this year.
Throughout his illness, Gavin supported others living with MND, and was a prolific fundraiser for MND research, giving hope and inspiration to others for both today and the future.
Westside created the Gavin Webb Award in his honour. Each year a new recipient is recognised with their name engraved on the plaque, which continues to take pride of place at the Westside Brisbane office.
